The Mayor of Hereford attends MilSys (UK) Ltd's Open Day.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Hereford meet the Company Directors

The Right Worshipful The Mayor of Hereford, Councillor Mrs Marcelle Lloyd-Hayes and the Mayoress Mrs Sandie Taylor attend an Open Day at MilSys (UK) Ltd. 

The Open Day was attended by forty guests from the International Community, British MoD and the local Emergency Services.

Following a consultancy provided through Business Link Hereford and Worcestershire, MilSys (UK) Ltd has been recognised as achieving the standard required for registration as an Investor in People (IiP).

The IiP certificate was presented by Mr Paul Keetch Member of Parliament for Hereford and Liberal Democrat Shadow Defence Secretary.

Following a short tour of the Rotherwas facility Mr Keetch MP presented the IiP Certificate to Miss Liz Jones, MilSys's HR coordinator.

MD, Mike Moran, said "the staff worked hard to implement the 'people culture' that has resulted in this formal recognition. I am extremely proud to lead a workforce that strive for continual improvement and, who are committed to the business and to our customers".

MilSys (UK) Ltd were delighted to be of assistance to the " Friends of Williamson Tunnels " (FoWT) by providing a DRASH for their members visits carried out during each weekend throughout the month of November.

FoWT are a Liverpool based registered charity, dedicated to the work of the philanthropist Joseph Williamson who built a vast and mysterious underground kingdom beneath the Edge Hill area of Liverpool , England, during the early 1800s. The DRASH was used as a First Aid Post and check-in point as well as keeping the members warm and dry whilst awaiting there turn to visit below ground.

MilSys (UK) Ltd provide a DRASH XBTJ Shelter to support the Herefordshire Photography Festival 2004.

MilSys MD, Mike Moran says "it is important to support our local community, particularly with events such as the Photography Festival which attracts visitors from across Britain to Hereford".
